Sue is currently working as a High Potential Gifted Education Specialist within Curriculum Early Years and Primary Learners (CEYPL) in the NSW Department of Education. Previous recent positions include working as a Teaching and Learning Advisor in Secondary Education in the Learning and Teaching Directorate and being a High Potential and Gifted Education Project Officer 7-12. A highlight of her career has been being involved with the review of the 2004 Gifted and Talented Policy and subsequent development of the High Potential and Gifted Education Policy and professional learning activities. Sue’s previous positions include being a deputy of a selective high school and 2 comprehensive high schools. She is a past president of both the NSW Gifted and Talented Association and the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented (AAEGT).
