Lee Saurins is the Principal at Valentine Public School and is President of Lake Macquarie PPC (Primary Principal Council). As current NSW PPA (Primary Principal Association) Chair, Curriculum Reference Group, Lee has a strong interest and involvement in Curriculum Reform.

With a K-12 teaching background, inclusive of considerable time as an OC (Opportunity Class) Teacher, Lee can share the narrative of the ‘on the ground experience’ working with and providing for our HP&G students. Her advocacy for equity, particularly in low-socio settings is grounded in experience and real-life examples of those who may not have had a ‘fair go.’

Lee’s long-term passion and strong advocacy for High Potential and Gifted Education has led to involvement in Gifted and Talented and High Potential and Gifted Policies and Curriculum work at state, regional and local levels.
