Professional Bio
Lynda has worked in gifted education for over 30 years teaching academically gifted students in whole class specialist settings, and as a Project Officer for the NSW Department of Education's High Potential and Gifted Education team developing professional learning and Illustrations of Practice. She has post graduate qualifications in gifted education and a M.Ed (Ed Psych). Lynda is a firm advocate for gifted students and has been heavily involved in Initial Teacher Education, mentoring numerous pre-service and early career teachers implementing gifted education in classrooms. Lynda is currently working as a University Liaison in this field for Flinders University and is the South Australian Director on the Board of the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented (AAEGT). Lynda’s current passion is investigating the learning of gifted students with neurodivergence, through low-demands differentiation.
