Professional Bio
Dr Vladimir Tosic is a Technology Teacher at North Sydney Boys High School, a selective boys-only NSW government school, and a Casual Academic at UNSW. In addition to his daily work with gifted and high-achieving secondary school students, he is also a UNSW GERRIC Scientia Challenge student workshop facilitator and a parent of gifted students, including a gifted student with disabilities. At the 2022 World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth (WAICY), Vladimir won the Outstanding Coach Award due to successes of his students in different age groups. His current research interests are in how advanced software (particularly artificial intelligence) can help differentiation of teaching, as well as teaching and mentoring gifted students with disabilities or mental health issues.
